law attorney to address complicated and
confusing business planning and legal issues is
a challenging task.
Here are a few of the criteria that Goldline Research uses when evaluating a dependable Business Law Attorney:
- The number of years of experience
- The range of services offered by the attorney/practice (e.g. business formation, contracts, collections, litigation, etc.)
- The number of total staff in the practice
- The number of attorneys in the practice, if applicable
- Advanced certifications and/or training held by staff
- State bar admittance
- Geographic service area
- Membership in relevant trade associations/societies (e.g. ABA)
- Any estate minimums
- The average estate size
- Any relationships that the attorney/practice has with other related services (e.g. businessservices such as accountants, consultants, etc.)
- The number of active clients
- The number of total clients
- An analysis of any client additions in the last 12 months
- An analysis of any client losses in the last 12 months
- The quality of client and professional references
- A review of any outstanding lawsuits, grievances and/or complaints against the attorney/practice
- The attorney’s/practice’s key differentiators
