Finding a quality plastic surgeon to address your plastic or cosmetic surgery needs is a challenging task. Many plastic surgeons perform cutting-edge procedures to address both health and cosmetic issues.

Here are a few of the criteria that Goldline Research uses when evaluating a dependable Plastic Surgeon:

  • The number of years of experience
  • Any specialized services offered by the doctor/practice
  • Any advanced technology offered by the doctor/practice
  • The number of total staff
  • The number of doctors in the practice, if applicable
  • Advanced certifications and/or training held by staff (e.g. ABPS, FACS, etc.)
  • The types of insurance the doctor/practice accepts, if any
  • The number of offices the doctor/practice has
  • The number of laser eye surgeries the doctor/practice has completed
  • The surgery failure rate for the doctor/practice
  • The availability of the doctor/practice for patient scheduling
  • Licensing (local, state, federal), if applicable
  • Membership in relevant trade associations/societies (e.g. AMA, ASPS, etc.)
  • The number of active patients
  • The number of total patients
  • An analysis of any patient additions in the last 12 months
  • An analysis of any patient losses in the last 12 months
  • The quality of patient and professional references
  • A review of any outstanding lawsuits, grievances and/or complaints against the doctor/practice
  • The doctor’s/practice’s key differentiators
